Water Service Line Inventory Map
Water service lines in the city of Dubuque are the water lines that service your specific property. They are privately owned by the property the line serves. The private ownership is from the main in the street to the house, including the curb stop. These services can be constructed of copper, lead, or galvanized pipe. The type of pipe used depends on the year the service line was installed. The City is working to eliminate all lead and galvanized pipe service lines in its inventory.
The City has created an online map that shows the water line material between water mains, stop boxes, and meters. While the information on the map and in the spreadsheet has been compiled from the best information the City has available, we realize there are bound to be errors. The data is provided "as is" and is expected to change as new information becomes available.
