Water services in the City of Dubuque are the water lines that service your specific property. They are privately owned by the property the line serves. The private ownership is from the main in the street all the way to the house, including the curb stop. These services can be constructed of copper, lead or galvanized pipe. What type of pipe used depends on the year the service line was installed. The City is working to eliminate all lead and galvanized pipe service lines in it's inventory.
